# Reputation Drops - an NFT Airdrop to DAO Drops genesis cohort

*An experiment in onchain reputation*

gm everyone. As some of you [may be aware](https://youtu.be/X33laGO5VhU), I was fortunate enough to be chosen in the initial round of [DAO Drops](https://daodrops.io/), which marked Ethereum Foundation's very first retroactive public goods funding round. I was among the 57 individuals selected for this unique opportunity, and securing a grant from EF as a result.

Now that the round has concluded and so are most of the community activities around the cohort, I wanted to commemorate this event and our achievements of making it to this round. I have created an artwork with first-hand introductions of each persons from the cohort, and airdropped it as an NFT to the grant winners. It is a little experiment in onchain reputation and potential governance mechanism based on reputation, and I am calling it - **Reputation Drops**. Here's the details:

The NFT is an ERC-1155 token on the ethereum chain of a high-resolution image that includes self-introductions of all 57 finalists (now holders of this NFT) as presented on the [@dao\_drops](https://twitter.com/dao_drops) website for vetting and vote from the Ethereum Community.

The project \`Reputation Drops\` is an experimental idea aiming to create an on-chain community of web3 contributors who have earned recognition from the ecosystem, and a way to record and celebrate their achievement through this NFT.
